When does Peek & Bar make sense?
When the case calls for less weight or a cushioned bite: patients sensitive to the heft of a full-metal frame, or cases where you want some shock absorption in the prosthesis.
Is PEEK strong enough for a full arch?
On its own, PEEK gives up strength to metal. That is why this is a hybrid: milled metal carries the structure, PEEK brings the lightness.
What files do you accept? Do I need a scanner?
STL preferred. We accept scans from any intraoral scanner, including 3Shape, Medit, iTero, DS Core, Sirona, and Shining3D. No scanner? Mail us your model or impression. See how to send from your scanner.
Can you design the bar for me?
Yes. The base price covers milling from your designed STL. Design fees depend on how you send the case.
How fast is it?
Daily order cutoff is 2:00 PM CT.
